Dr. Rice is from Buffalo, New York. Dr. Rice did his undergraduate studies at Canisius College in Buffalo, where he studied Bio-Chemistry. He attended the University of Buffalo Medical School, and graduated in 1998. Dr. Rice did his residency at Womack Army Medical Center located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was then stationed at Fort Hood, Texas where he worked as a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Rice served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Field Physician in 2003. He was honorably discharged in December of that year.

Since then, Dr. Rice worked for the VA performing compensation and pension exams for 3 years. He also has over 17 years of experience in primary and urgent care.

Dr. Rice is married to his high school sweetheart, Heather. They have three children. In his spare time, Dr. Rice enjoys hiking.

Heather is a former teacher who has worked for over 7 years managing her husband’s medical practices. Heather is the “support staff.” She makes appointments, handles faxes, makes phone calls, etc. She enjoys swimming and gardening in her spare time.
